i built a thing.

The other night I was watching an episode of Silicon Valley where Richard Hendricks quotes Ried Hoffmann: “If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late”.

Now, while I’m not launching a product or embarrassed by the first version (I mean, it could do with some more love) it did push me to just “launch”.

Over the past month or so I’ve been rebuilding my personal website in any gap I could find and now it’s ‘done’ enough that I can post this. It’s not much at the moment, but it’s mine. I’ll be adding to it over time, including my writing and perhaps some longer form content and who knows what else – inspired by the IndieWeb resurgence.

Side note - sometimes I wonder why I ‘torture’ myself with Silicon Valley - sometimes it just hits too close to home.
