Product Management
5 years 2 months
In my role as product manager at Dynatrace I’ve been responsible for 3 main product areas:
- Data visualization - This was where I started as a PM, building all the data visualization components for Dynatrace’s Strato design system. I began with one team and a handful of components and scaled this out to 4 teams that built 12 charts and 2 table components.
- Smartscape® | Dynatrace’s application mapping technology and app - Toward the end of 2025 I was looking for a bigger challenge and was offered (and grabbed) the opportunity to build the next-gen app for one of Dynatrace’s core technologies. I took it from early concept to GA in under a year, showing it to customers live in Las Vegas at Dynatrace’s annual customer conference (Perform, Jan 2026).
- Mystery agentic topic - Most recently (July 2026) I was given ownership of a new AI topic to contribute to Dynatrace Intelligence’s product offering. The goal is to deliver it to our enterprise customers in the next 6 months. I’m not trying to be coy, but I can’t share much more than that yet.
In addition to these main topics I’ve picked up and helped out on a bunch of side quests over the years, incl. integrating data visualization components into our flagship Dashboards and Notebooks apps, played the role of a quasi-program manager by building Jira dashboards for leadership, and – for a short period – helped with getting notifications off the ground.

Communication Design
1 year 7 months
I came into IT as a Visual Communication Strategist (later rebranded to Communication Design) to work together with our founder-CTO to help visually communicate what Dynatrace is and what it does to our customers.
In addition to supporting him with the narrative and structure of his keynote presentations, I was also responsible for the iconography and illustrations in the core UX team.
Along the way I worked on all kinds of topics incl. a teaser video, a topology node graph visualization (which I would later own as PM), Dynatrace’s platform personality, marketecture and error page illustrations, custom typeface development, and a visual asset management solution.

Industrial Design & Product Development
6 years 9 months
I started at Digital Fabric with an internship during my studies – designing and drafting components for a museum project. This turned into a freelance gig, followed by a full-time position, relocating to Austria as a Product Development Manager, being hired by our strategic partner, and then becoming Design Team Lead.
During my roles at both companies I worked on a variety of projects, including: mobile LED walls for the automotive industry, internal CAD standards and documentation, projection systems for theme parks, and product numbering systems - but my biggest project was the end-to-end development and manufacture of 4D SFX motion seats for the visitor attraction industry, which spanned Austria, the Czech Republic, South Africa, and China.
